- Arab Barometer’s ninth wave delivers timely insights into what citizens across the Middle East and North Africa see as their top priorities, key challenges, and outlooks amid economic strain, regional upheaval, and humanitarian crises.
- Data collection began in September 2025, with nationally representative face-to-face surveys planned or completed in Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, and Tunisia; other countries were excluded due to funding limitations, ongoing instability, or government restrictions on full and fair access in our ability to conduct the survey.
- More than 10,000 will be interviewed citizens will be interviewed on topics ranging from Gaza and international relations to the economy, governance, gender norms, identity, and the environment.
- The 45-minute, computer tablet-based interviews are conducted in private and face-to-face with individuals randomly selected to fairly represent their communities.
