AUB Event: Two Waves of Arab Uprisings in 2010-2022: Who are the Protesters and What Do They Want?

An online panel discussion by scholars sharing their research on these questions from across the Arab region.

The three speakers will analyze the results of their years of on-the-ground research on political protests in Arab countries that have persisted in different forms since 2010. They will discuss their findings from Lebanon, Iraq, Tunisia, and Morocco, along with Arab Barometer waves of regional surveys across the region — focusing on who the protesters are and their demands.
